Allergy Treatment Center has joined Riverside Medical Group

To my Patients:

It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my retirement from active practice, effective September 14, 2019. It has been a great pleasure providing for your healthcare needs over the past 20 years, and it is not easy for me to give it up. I have been offered a wonderful opportunity in medical research which will prevent me from continuing direct patient care.

As of October 8th, Riverside Medical Group will be taking over my practice. Dr. Gargi Patel will be the primary physician at both office locations. I believe that she will provide you with excellent care. Dr. Patel is a well-trained graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She served her residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ and completed her allergy and immunology fellowship at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY.

In addition to Dr. Patel, you will have a team of allergists from Riverside Medical Group looking after you. Dr. Mark Weinstein, the head of Allergy and Immunology at Riverside and Dr. Robert Klein, another experienced allergist in the group, will also be involved in making sure your medical needs are met. I have known both doctors for many years.

I am glad that I am leaving my patients in their capable hands.

Of course, you may seek medical care from another doctor. The office staff will provide you with a copy of your medical records. Your medical records are confidential, and a copy can be transferred to another doctor or released to you or another person you designate only through your permission. Until then, your records will remain on file at my former office.

I have greatly valued our relationship and thank you for your loyalty and friendship over the years. Best wishes for your future health.
